Terms and Conditions

Every booking is subject to the terms & conditions in place at the time of the booking. These terms are available for review prior to booking. Please carefully read the following terms and conditions. You agree to have read, understood and be bound by these terms as well as the terms specific to each package as by using this Website or purchasing any of the products or services offered by Comfy Lanka Tours.
Tour booking will be confirmed by 30% upfront advance through Bank Transfer or Credit Card (Visa, Master Card). A receipt will be sent to you immediately. A Confirmation Letter will be sent to you, when all reservations have been made with advance payment. The balance amount should be paid one weeks prior to arrival. ‘Comfy Lanka Tours’ is not responsible for any changers in exchange rates and changers in government taxes.
 
1.) Cancellation by Traveler or Tour organizer:
 

Any individual is wishing to cancel a booking must immediately notify by email to us with the booking details.

In the event of a group cancellation (by the tour leader), we will hold each individual equally liable for cancellation costs.

We cannot be held liable for any incidental expenses that you may incur from your side during arrangements for a booking that is subsequently canceled.

 
Cancelation Fee 
 
Before 45 days of canceling – we will refund your full amount the same way. 
 
Before 30 days of canceling – we will charge 25% of the total package price as the cancellation fee. 
 
Before 21 days of canceling – we will charge 50% of the total package price as the cancellation fee.
 
Before 14 days of canceling or no show – we will charge 100% of the total package price as the cancellation fee.
  
Wherever possible, we offer an alternative booking of comparable type and quality for your consideration. 
 
Information provided by you;
 
All the information you provide should be true and accurate. We will treat it confidentially and will not forward it to any third party. We do not spam, supply mailing lists, or use personal information in any way other than to secure your booking. We have a strict anti-fraud policy and take responsible steps to protect personal information such as credit card details.
 
Customer Care and Complaints Procedure;
 
‘Comfy Lanka Tours’ is fully dedicated to high levels of customer care at all stages of your holiday. This includes solving any problems at source to the benefit and contentment of all parties. Any complaints must be pursued as soon as possible with us.
 
 Force Majeure
 
We cannot accept responsibility for Force Majeure – defined in these booking conditions as any specific event which we, as the supplier of the services, could not reasonably have foreseen, influenced, or avoided. These include war, or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorism, contamination, extreme or unusual weather conditions, industrial disputes, changes to events, natural disasters, fire, flight cancellations, or rescheduling by airlines or any similar event beyond our control.
 
Packages or excursion itineraries may change or be different from those described in the brochure as a result of local conditions, weather conditions and annual events. We will endeavor to notify you of any significant changes prior to your departure. 
 
Insurance
 
Every holidaymaker, without exception, must possess valid travel insurance, and details of the policy must be stated before travel. It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling. We strictly advise you to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour including the loss of deposits through cancellation, loss of baggage and personal items, personal injury, and death. 
 
Accommodations
 
We will make sure to supply the agreed accommodation for the tour package preferred by the guest. We will provide the necessary details of the selected hotels in the tour package to the guests in advance. The accommodation listed is subject to change. Any changes will be of an equal or higher standard. All efforts will be made to meet your preferences however some changes are beyond our control.
 
7.1 Policy of Early Check-in
 
The room is available after 12:00h or 14:00h, if you would like an early check-in (allowed between 06:00h morning to 12:00h afternoon), we will make the arrangement with the hotel, but it may incurred an additional cost, which should be borne by you.
 
 
7.2 Policy of Late Check-out
 
General check-out time is before 12:00h. If guests are willing to check out late, (after 12:00h but before 18:00h) an additional amount will be charged. When guests check out late (after 18:00h), 100% of the relevant room rate will be charged.
 
Shopping
 
‘Comfy Lanka Tours’ never, under any circumstances, recommends or guarantees the value or the quality of any products available for sale locally. Determining the value and quality of a product and buying it or not is entirely your responsibility.
